GEOGRAPHIC FOCUS

SHO adopts a decentralized operational model with strategically positioned field offices that enable comprehensive coverage and agile response across key regions in Syria.
The head office in Hama leads interventions in Hama, Homs, and the coastal areas, while the Aleppo office coordinates activities in Aleppo and Idleb.
The Damascus office manages programs across Damascus, and its surrounding rural areas, as well as the southern governorates of Daraa and Sweida.
SHO places strong emphasis on underserved and marginalized rural communities-areas that are often neglected and where humanitarian needs are most pressing.
This targeted geographical approach ensures that SHO’s interventions are context-sensitive, impactful, and directed toward populations with the greatest vulnerability and limited access to essential services.
